My journey with traditional painting has been an exploration of patience, passion, and persistence. It all began with a deep admiration for the timeless beauty and skill evident in masterworks. Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to visit Madrid, where I immersed myself in the art of legends like Francisco Goya. Standing before Goya's masterpieces, I felt an overwhelming connection to the rich history and profound emotions captured in each work. Especially that of his Black Paintings.

This experience reinforced my passion for traditional painting, compelling me to push my boundaries and strive for excellence. However, pursuing art seriously isn't without its challenges. My first attempts to get my paintings into legitimate art contests were met with rejection. But instead of letting it discourage me, I chose to see it as a stepping stone for growth. Each rejection has taught me invaluable lessons, strengthening my resolve and honing my skills.
At the heart of it all, I paint for myself. The joy of creating, the meditative process of bringing an image to life, and the personal satisfaction of seeing my vision on canvas are what truly drive me. The journey of an artist is filled with highs and lows, but it's the passion and dedication that make it all worthwhile. Here's to continuing the pursuit of art, no matter the challenges, and finding fulfillment through personal growth.
